Julianne studied at the Birmingham Conservatoire and began studying the violin and piano at the age of 6. Besides her work with the Darwin Ensemble and other classical ventures she is much in demand as a recording artist, session musician and performer. She’s a firm favourite with award winning Midlands’ production mogul, Gavin Monaghan amongst others and she’s worked with bands such as Ocean Colour Scene, The Twang, Alex Ohm and the Lines, Nislopi, Dan Greenaway and Paul Manel.
Julianne also has a successful teaching practice and currently works at Wolverhampton Girls’ High School. She believes in inspiring young people to have a passion for music and runs a much respected ensemble group; ‘Beaux Electrix’, which encourages young people to develop a love for music from many different genres – performing works from Mozart and Beethoven to Rhianna and Muse.
